1. Acceptance

By accessing the ProductCodeLookup website, dashboard, or API (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. The Service

ProductCodeLookup provides a database of product identifier metadata (UPC, EAN, GTIN, ISBN) and an HTTP API to query it. Free use is rate limited; paid plans raise quotas as documented on the pricing page.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits or share API keys.
• Do not redistribute the bulk dataset under another name.
• Do not submit illegal or infringing product data.

4. Account & billing

Accounts are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel any time via the customer portal. Refunds are not provided for partial periods.

5. Data accuracy

Product data is sourced from open datasets, partner feeds, and user submissions. While we work to keep it correct, we make no warranty of accuracy or completeness. Critical decisions should be verified at the point of sale.

6. Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced by email.
